The infrastructure practice is becoming its own company: StanServe, a self-serve platform for provisioning and managing these services — order a server, watch it come online, manage it from one place. It is being built the way everything in this group is built: planned first, then implemented properly.
Until it opens, capacity is provisioned the old way: a conversation about what you are running, and infrastructure shaped to fit. Early conversations get first pick of the racks.
